Hear from some clinics and clients

"I've been referring patients to Power to Move from my psychiatry clinic since 2021. The team and trainers at Power to Move have made fundamental, positive changes in my patients lives. Many have lost weight, taken on new challenges, engaged with their community, and seen their stress and anxiety levels significantly reduce. One patient has improved their health in that we have been able to reduce medication, and the goal is to be medication free by the end of 2022. This could not have happened with out the team from Power to Move."

Leading Psychiatric Practioner, North Adelaide

"Cass and Power to Move have been treating one of my patients with obesity and type 2 diabetes. Over the last 12 months my patient has controlled his weight and has lost 20 kilos and 25 centimetres. Whilst the patient still has a long way to go, with the support from this organisation I have no doubt the patient will achieve their health goals."

Local GP, Hindmarsh

"Cass has helped our son deal with his obesity and start a health and movement program. My son has multiple psychotic disorders, which have made him reclusive, unable and unwilling to engage or do things in social settings. Cass has helped him overcome his reclusive behaviour and he attends group classes and individual training sessions every day. He is a much happier individual. More than a gym."

Louise (parent) and Adrian, aged 19

"Cass listened to me and my concerns about my body image, going to the gym and being judged. But Power to Move is not like other gyms, it is one of my favourite places to go every day. The other students are very supportive of me and keep me motivated to keep on track and achieve my goals. This is the only thing that has helped me lose weight and keep my anxiety under control. Life changing."

John, aged 43
